UPnP wrong albumArtURI on NAS systems?

Postby TimoK » Tue Feb 05, 2008 4:25 pm

Hello,

I'm working on a UPnP ControlPoint Software and discovered a Problem with the tag albumArtURI in the musicTrack class in the DIDL-Lite MetaInformation.
I've installed version 4.4.3.1 on the Diskstation 107+ and the URI for albumArt is like:

http://ip:9000/cgi-bin/O1$12$1013212263 ... g.desc.jpg

I can't load the image from there.
We are running an old version 4.4.2 of TwonkyMedia on a Windows machine and the path is looks very similar, but has http://ip:9000/albumart/... instead of http://ip:9000/cgi-bin/...
So I replaced the cgi-bin in the above path with albumart and i can load the image in a browser but it is not scaled. It seems to me like TwonkyMedia submits the wrong URI as albumArtURI on NAS systems because of missing CGI Scripts for scaling? Or is there an option in the configuration i've overseen?

Best Regars,
TimoK

Sorry, now I read the Thread about the 4.4.3 version and noticed that the albumArt problem is known for that version. I've updated the Windows Version to 4.4.3.1 and the albumArt is working there, but looks really ugly.

Although maybe this information helps to solve this problem :)
