Do you have an update on case MM-3279? It's been a few months now...
This is for issue where TMS shows "Unknown" in the trees if the MP4 Genre is set to "Comedy".

This is due to the following bug in TMS:

Also, are you able to get anything out of Twonky about version 5.1.5 and the fix for "Files larger than 2.15GB are not picked up by NAS versions of Twonky (for example QNap)?" That has also been over a month and it's a show stopper.... Yet nobody is responding in the Beta forum...

Not sure who did this, but the first issue was moved out on the road map. I've reassigned it to an engineer and asked it we can do anything about this in TMS 6.0 or 6.1. They probably won't want to go back and fix it in 5.1.x, but let's see what they say.

I just sent your 2nd question to Christian Gran who is the main engineer behind TwonkyServer. He is normally very good about responding to my e-mails. Of course, I'll post the response when I get it.

As you've discovered, large file support was broken for all Linux based builds of TwonkyMedia server 5.1.4. This problem has been fixed however. TMS 5.1.5 should support large files again.

I installed 5.1 on my NV+, but it does not see my shares. I hope this is the right place to ask for help. I have three shares, 2 on USB and on a share on the NV+. How do I point to the shares?

Easy to fix (will take you only 30 seconds):

If you've used the 5.1.4 add-on created by Super-Poussin (as described and available from here) then the content base directory has been set to the media share (/media). This can be changed via an RPC call (to move it from /media to /) and thus you will be able to browse to any share or folder on the NV+. There is a full description in the first section of my post here, but in summary, you can enter the following into your browser to open the access up to show everything:

http://your.NAS.IP:9000/rpc/set_option?contentbase=/

Hit the Twonky restart button to pick up the above change and once that's done, you can then set various Twonky share paths using the Twonky config page (for example, you could have 3 paths to music, 3 to pictures etc).
