What is TwonkyBeam?

TwonkyBeam(tm) is free software that lets you stream media directly from your browser to devices around your home. Send music, photos or video from popular Web sites, including Flickr, YouTube and LastFM, directly to your connected TV or stereo. TwonkyBeam is the newest member of the TwonkyMedia family.

Just Click and Play

TwonkyBeam is an easy to use browser plug-in that works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. It downloads and installs on your PC in less than a minute, then simply right-click on media to beam it to your player of choice. You can also expand TwonkyBeam to show all of the available media on a Web page. Just click on the media you want, select a media player and hit play. In seconds, you’ll be enjoying high-quality audio on your stereo or viewing photos or video on your TV. TwonkyBeam can even stream high-definition video over your network.

Plays Well with Others

TwonkyBeam works with a wide range of consumer electronics and software, including PV’s own TwonkyMedia™ manager. Popular devices that are compatible with TwonkyBeam include Sony® Bravia, SAMSUNG and Loewe HDTVs, as well as networked stereo receivers from Denon or Pioneer. You can even purchase a low-cost digital media adapter from Linksys, Philips, Yamaha or others to use with the gear you already have.
