TwonkyBeam iphone plugplayer, works, to Samsung BDC6500 no

I can get TwonkyBeam (TB) to stream content from my Mac Mini PC to my iphone via the PlugPlayer DMR app.

I can also turn on my Samsung BluRay Player, modeal BD-C6500 and can see the TwonkyBeam media player on my TV screen via my blue ray player. However, when I go to play content in the TV via the blueray player, the screen says: No content.

ALSO, it is ONLY my iPhone that shows up as a device in the TB sidebar screen. The BlueRay player does not show up..

any ideas? According to http://www.dlna.org/products the Samsung is a fully compatible DNLA compliant device.

also should say, videos that stream to the iphone via the plugplayer only reproduces the audio. no video.

1. iPhone has farily limited codec support. That probably explains why you're getting sound, but not video.
2. The reason your Blu-ray player doesn't appear in TwonkyBeam is probably because it's a digital media player, but not a digital media renderer (DMR). You can read more about this in the Beam FAQ. The bottom line is that not all DLNA-certified devices are DMRs.

i upgraded to TwonkyMedia beta 6.0 for mac and have successfully run it on my TV via the above Samsung blueray player. I could never get any of the Ver 5.X or 4.X TM to work... seems as if im on the right path.. finally...
