LG 55LE5400 LED for Twonky

by baileyd300 on Fri May 07, 2010 3:50 pm

I have a new DLNA certified LG 55LE5400 which using Twonky Media server and Twonky Manager works well. I installed Beam but can only pick up my Twonky Manager in my list of devices. I am a newbie at this and see the LG 55LE5400 is not on the list. Can I use something else on the list and should my Twonky Server devices be setup as Generic Receiver? I can control my DMR TV when connected to Twonky via the TV so this works perfectly. The device is DLNA certified as a DMP. Thanks for any help on completing my DLNA experience. :)

Generic receiver is fine.

TwonkyBeam only works with DLNA-certified products that can be externally controlled. If a device can be externally controlled, it should automatically appear in TwonkyBeam.

You can find a list of supported media players here. viewtopic.php?f=24&t=5960#p21264
