I get an "Item can't be played" message

Postby JeanA4 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 11:56 am

Hi there everyone

This is my first post and I'm gald to be part of the Twonky community.

I'm new to DLNA, thanks to my Samsung TV and until now I've been playing around with Twonky but have found that I still cannot view a (for instance) Youtube video on my TV. I get this message

"Item can't be played"

Though I've searched the FAQ I haven't found anyone with the same problem.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks

PS: my PC runs XP home and some muwic has been able to show on the TV screen, as well as photos, but many times I've had the error message.

I believe this is a 'known issue' which has been fixed in TwonkyBeam 1.6. We're hoping to post that on Twonky.com later this week.

Hi,

Just installed the new versions of Twonky Manager/server. Twonky beam 1.6 is now working properly.

Thanks
