How do you change a vista home basic operating system to Linux Ubuntu? Right now i am running vista home basic 32bit and i have been playing around with virtual pc and using other operating systems like Linux ubuntu. And i really like it so i was wondering how do i switch my os from vista to ubuntu and if you think its worth it. Thx For The Help in Advance!

You're massively off topic here ;) I'd suggest one of the many Ubuntu forums is a more relevant place to ask.

To do it you'd wipe your PC and start with a fresh install of Ubuntu. Ensure you back everything up to an external hard disk first since if you do that you'll lose everything on your PC. Remember that none of your Windows software will work and if you need to run Windows you'll need to run it in a virtual machine.

Only you will know whether or not it's worth it for you.
